London Brunch – The Modern Pantry

30 de January de 2020

Looking for a new charming cafe with an interesting menu for your next brunch? London is never short of options! Located in Clerkenwell in a traditional red brick building, The Modern Pantry can be a great option. 🙂

The word ‘Pantry’ comes from the Latin Panis which means bread and translates a bit of the menu and their philosophy; a mixture of traditional dishes with some exotic additions. A good take on this is the sugar cured shrimp omelette, we tried and tastes very nice.

We also tried to sweetcorn waffle, pancakes and homemade doughnuts with ice cream. You can find more traditional brunch choices on their menu as well such eggs and yoghurt bowls.

Some interesting things to do around this area would include Barbican Centre and the Postal Museum which has an amazing softplay area for kids called ‘Sorted’ – requires online booking!
